20th July 2010… toot toot its Tuesday.
What a beautiful day here in Auckland city just finished up my show for the day. Oh how I like Tuesdays way better than Mondays haha. Thought I will quickly jump on here and share my thoughts with you: )
Taking a quick glance at the news headlines today and there is a lot of crashes happening around the country, which is really heartbreaking!!Looking at the headlines on the NZ Hearald website today just gives me shivers up my spine. We all need to drive slower, sober and safer guys and if you’re feeling sleepy while you’re driving, you really need to STOP DRIVING and take a REST!! We all used the roads so let’s make sure that we use it safely. I know the roads are much more slippery and wet during winter so below are some tips to help you out on the road this winter…
The first step for safe winter driving is getting your vehicle ready for winter driving and winter road conditions. Simple things like these can make winter driving a lot safer
-Check tire pressure
-Inspect all belts and hoses
-Make sure the battery is fully charged
-Change the oil, switching to a thinner grade of engine oil for better performance in colder temperatures
-Inspect the wipers and wiper fluid to ensure better visibility
And finally always make sure you are SLOWER, SOBER and SAFER and remember make it click by putting on that seatbelt.
Safe driving everyone!
